This is the second in the series of youth-oriented webinars, entitled “Sprouting change: capacity- building for youth in green and climate-resilient agriculture”. The series is organized by FAO and IAAS in collaboration with YPARD.

Food security and nutrition are an important part of the rural development agenda in developing countries. Addressing this issue adequately requires an intersectoral approach from agriculture, health, and education, with coherent policies at the national level and with territorial relevance. In this context, extension services can play a critical role in promoting nutrition-sensitive agriculture and interacting with health and education services.

The Agribusiness Canada International Expo 2024 aims to bridge the Agriculture sectors of Africa and North America. The 2-Day event will provide a platform for Dialogue, experience-based learning, and Networking focusing on sustainable-driven Agriculture.

Developing sustainable food systems isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the lifeline of our civilization. In a world where the population is booming, the demand for food and eco-friendly agriculture methods has never been more pressing. The key lies in sustainable agriculture, a superhero that holds the potential to feed the ever-growing population amid the shifting environmental tides. As climate change looms large on the global stage, directly impacting food security and the economy, the urgent call is for sustainable food systems birthed from sustainable agriculture practices.
